Our Beers: Apache Trout Stout

Mogollon Apache Trout Stout is named after the Arizona State Fish. Regarded as sacred by the Apache Indians, these fish were once on the brink of extinction, but now thrive in many Arizona rivers. This beer is a dedication to their longevity. Apache Trout Stout is hand crafted in 600 gallon batches using a combination of 2-Row, Roasted and Flaked Barley, Caramel 120L and Black Barley. We use Galena hops for bittering, Cascade for flavoring and aromatize with Fuggle hops. The result is a robust, full-bodied stout with a coffee like character and finishes with a slight lingering sweetness with a hint of chocolate.
